Patwa is a small yet perfectly formed Bristol based design studio. Set up in 2005 by designer Derek Edwards, Patwa is extremely proud of its client base which includes music, arts, charity, publishing, retail and corporate industries.
Creative ideas, innovative problem solving and striking design are central to Patwa's approach. Reflecting the personality of its founder, Patwa is a down to earth and approachable studio where life is never boring!
Derek has honed his creative skills from over 10 years of working both full time and freelancing in the design industry. Derek started his career in London working at the Financial Times, moving onto marketing agencies Fresh and Mediator Communications before a period of freelancing.
Following a move to the South West, Derek was then employed by Peter Gabriel at his Wiltshire studio designing for his world music label Real World and WOMAD festivals, prior to setting up Patwa.
